My name is Brooke, and I am supa excited to be here to shake up this space with my brand Me‘e Mischief, Hawaii Comic-Printed Activewear. I know. I know. Uh, another activewear brand!?! Everyone and their māmā be doing activewear these days, BUT I promise, we still be cool and we always be super.
So, what makes us so cool and super, other than our logo, of course, is we tell mo‘olelo through comic form and print them on activewear to bring out that SUPER in you.
I'm sure you've had times in your life when you questioned what you were wearing because you thought you looked fat, or you questioned if you should say something because you didn't want to be that girl, that too weird girl (a little weird is okay, but a hair above cute weird and oooooohhh you get that I-don’t-think-we-can-hang look) or you questioned if you should do something because you didn't want others to dislike you. If at any time you questioned being you, this brand is FOR you.
In this space, we will educate and inspire through mo‘olelo. We will tell mo‘olelo of our akua or gods who lived super and lived sovereign. They ho‘okō(ed) their kūleana or fulfilled their responsibilities regardless of if others thought they could do it or not. Most of these mo‘olelo will be coming from Hawaiian language sources and will be told in comic book form. My favorite form.
Once we tell these mo‘olelo of our awesome akua, you will then have the opportunity to wear and embody a print/visual form of their mo‘olelo on activewear. That way their Super(ness) will rub off on you and give you the confidence to, well, be your Super you. It's an inspirational effect you see, and I can’t tell you how awesome it will feel to wear these mo‘olelo comic book leggings in the gym, on your runs or even on your couch eating chocolate.
